Snow part 2

Here are more pictures of the boys playing in the snow. It didn't take them long to figure out how to make snow balls and throw them at dad. I love the expression on Will's face in the second picture and Tyler's smile in the third picture. They were having fun playing with the snow and didn't want to come in. Mom and Dad were cold so we all went in.

Snow part 1

The forecast called for the snow to start mid morning, but it didn't arrive until about 2:30. My school system closed due to: "the impeding storm". David went to work and the boys wanted to go to daycare so they could have their Valentines party. So they had their party at 2 and I picked them up at 2:45.

They wanted to play in the snow as soon as they got home but I told them we had to get the camera before we went outside. Then they decided to wait for Dad who had left work already.
I love the look on Will's face as he is going outside. I tried to take one of Tyler as he came out, but he was fascinated by the snow on the brick steps and would not look up long enough for a good picture. The third picture they were surveying the yard and road. The last picture they are picking up the snow in the front bed so it had some mulch in it.

Helping daddy!

This is the second bookshelf that we bought from IKEA. We bought the bookshelves the same day, they just got put together about two weeks apart. The boys love to help dad do things. Tyler has the hammer from his musical tool bench and Will has the hammer from the new tool trucks. They knew what pieces went where this time and were eager to help daddy put this together.

I love Will's expression in the first picture. In the second picture David is letting Will further hammer in one of the wood pieces for the bookshelf. The third picture is neat and artistic. The fourth they are helping dad put the second side on the bookshelf. They have a great time with Dad.

They love wearing their Santa pajama's that Granny got them this year.
